A leading construction and engineering business in the UK is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will provide proactive and comprehensive HR support across multiple sites, manage employee relations cases confidently, and work closely with operational teams. A strong background in HR advising within the construction sector and knowledge of UK employment law is essential. The role offers a salary of £50,000 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Strong HR advisory background within construction or a similar sector.
• Confidence to manage ER cases from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
• Support the recruitment process to fill vacancies efficiently.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Coaching line managers on best practice HR approaches.
• Prepare documentation and support formal hearings.
