Salary: £75,000-£85,000

PQE Level: 3+ PQE

We're working in partnership with a highly regarded law firm in Guildford to recruit an experienced Construction & Engineering lawyer into their expanding team. This is a standout opportunity for a solicitor seeking high-quality work, genuine career progression, and a collaborative, well-supported environment.

The Role

This position sits within a top-ranked Real Estate department, offering exposure to a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The team advises a diverse client base including national contractors, developers, manufacturers, and education providers, and is currently engaged on several high-value disputes and complex infrastructure projects.

While a blend of contentious and non-contentious experience is ideal, the firm is open to candidates with a strong background in either discipline. The work includes:

  • Advising on adjudication, arbitration, and TCC litigation
  • Handling disputes involving payment issues, professional negligence, delay, and defects
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and ancillary documentation
  • Providing strategic project advice across the construction lifecycle
