Job Summary

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the UK configuration team in a cost‑effective and efficient manner, leading the shift and managing process compliance. You will also manage process execution and ensure the team adheres to all provided procedures while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

What you will do
  • Continuously look at development opportunities within the team for succession planning in line with the company’s vision for the future
  • Day‑to‑day management of the Configuration function, focusing on administration, accuracy, and leadership
  • Drive accountability from Team Leaders
  • Work alongside Team Leaders to develop their leadership skills
  • Provide day‑to‑day direction to Team Leaders and the wider team to ensure productivity remains high
  • Set a daily vision for the shift, communicating issues and successes from other shifts and departments
  • Work closely with other Supply Chain Supervisors to promote a one‑team ethos and shared challenge resolution
  • Drive adherence to the CDW way code of conduct
  • Set an exemplary example to the wider team
  • Hold the team to account for their professional behaviours
  • Maintain internal and external service levels
  • Business management including KPIs, waste reduction, target setting and overtime management
  • Manage performance, appraisals, disciplinary actions, recruitment and absence management
  • Liaise with internal and external customers
  • Follow health and safety procedures
