Job Title: Care Home Manager – (West Yorkshire)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + bonus structure (based on occupancy, sickness, quality outcomes)

Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, confident Care Home Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations and continue the home’s success. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, managing a dedicated team, and driving the home forward to increase occupancy and optimise performance.

Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the management and leadership of the home.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all quality standards.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop staff to deliver excellent care.
  • Increase occupancy and take a proactive approach to admissions.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Implement best practice in care planning, risk management, and safeguarding.
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and commissioners.
  • Drive performance through KPI monitoring, including sickness, occupancy, and quality outcomes.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in a Care Home Manager role or similar (medium-sized home).
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership / Management for Health & Social Care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and residential care regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Track record of increasing occupancy and improving operational performance.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to hit the ground running.
  • Open to innovative approaches, including commission / setup background if relevant.
