Overview of Conference & Events porter role

Your role as Conference and Events Porter will be to assist in the set up of the event as outlined on the function sheet. The Conference and Events Porter will be expected to follow direct instructions from the Conference & Events Manager in order to fulfil all aspects of the function as detailed on the function sheet. The role will require you to assist in other Food and Beverage departments when there are no functions happening.

Requirements / Attributes

  • A good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Adaptable to support other departments such as Lounge, Restaurant and Bar.
  • Physically fit as moving equipment is a requirement of the role.
