Job summary

A leading cast stone manufacturer in Radstock is seeking a skilled Concrete Operative to join their production team. This full-time role requires the individual to engage in various duties, including filling moulds with concrete and operating mixers. Successful candidates will have a strong team spirit, excellent time management, and a flexible attitude. Desirable qualities include construction experience and a forklift truck license. A focus on health and safety is paramount in this position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Filling moulds with wet and semi-dry concrete.
  • Stripping, cleaning, oiling and reassembling moulds ready for reuse.
  • Setting moulds with fixings and reinforcements as specified.
  • Operating the mixers.
  • Floating, etching and blinding-in the finished goods.
  • Cleaning down the plant at the end of each shift.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment.

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Concrete Operative to join our team. Established for over 50 years, we are one of the market leaders in the cast stone industry, with unrivaled customer service and a focus on providing the very best products. As a member of the production team, the Concrete Operative will be involved in a wide range of duties within the factory environment, playing a key role in the delivery of our cast stone products.

Position Type: Full time - 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday (06:00 - 16:00)

Key Duties/Responsibilities
  • Filling moulds with wet and semi-dry concrete.
