Job summary

A leading retail company in the UK is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their Finance Operations team. This office-based role will involve ensuring suppliers and customers meet compliance requirements, conducting due diligence checks, and supporting the rollout of a new ERP system. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Compliance and strong knowledge of relevant laws. A degree in Finance, Law, or Business is preferred. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in Compliance, Risk, or Financial Controls.
  • Strong understanding of Anti-Bribery and Corruption laws.
  • Familiarity with GDPR is a plus.
  • Practical experience with vendor master data controls.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Know Your Vendor checks and conduct sanctions screenings.
  • Carry out Know Your Business and Customer Due Diligence checks.
  • Perform periodic rescreening of suppliers and investigate issues.
  • Support the implementation of compliance controls in Oracle ERP.
