Compliance Manager | High‑Growth, Regulated Business

A fast‑growing UK organisation in a regulated sector is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support its next phase of growth.

Reporting into the CFO, this role sits at the heart of the business and acts as the bridge between commercial teams, senior leadership, and outsourced legal advisers. The Compliance Manager will own legal and compliance queries end‑to‑end—coordinating advice, translating it into practical actions, and ensuring outcomes are embedded across the organisation.

The role covers governance, contract oversight, regulatory compliance, data protection, health & safety, and risk management. Rather than slowing the business down, the focus is on enabling growth in a controlled, commercially pragmatic way.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in compliance, legal coordination, governance, or risk
  • Experience managing external legal advisers and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of GDPR, compliance frameworks, and Health & Safety
  • Background in a regulated or complex environment (energy or similar a plus)
