Established for over 20 years, Marlowe Smoke Control specializes in the supply, installation, and maintenance of Smoke Ventilation Systems UK Wide. We are seeking a Compliance and Estimator Manager to join our team at various sites.

What are we looking for?

We need a Compliance and Estimator to work closely with our clients as a key team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractor services, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Order the correct equipment for optimal installation and client options.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with project estimates and implement best practices.
  • Prepare detailed estimate reports for internal and client review; build relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the company
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask
  • Self-motivated and ambitious
  • Understanding or experience with electrical control systems
  • Ability to work within a team of engineers
  • Experience with software-based control systems and ability to write/update system software (or willingness to learn)
  • Ability to physically check, maintain, diagnose, and undertake remedial work on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Understanding of electrical circuits in control panels
  • Problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and thorough solutions provision
  • Knowledge of current regulations and standards
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Customer service orientation with assertiveness when necessary
