£14 - £16/hour Contract NEWREMOTE First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You'll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence. We are looking for a caring, & bubbly Healthcare Assistants to look after a 7 year old boy in his own home based in Surrey RH7. This package will be starting in February 2026 so you will need to complete your compliance & registration in a timely manner in order to be ready to start in time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 & 2:1 care to children in their own home. You will work alongside a Registered Nurse on shift.
  • Build rapport with family members and other staff members.
  • Make sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced. Minimum 12 months experience working closely with children with clinical complex needs.
  • Ventilator experience - CPAP/BiPAP.
  • Seizure management - experience with complex seizures & administering rescue medicine.
  • Tracheostomy - experience working with children that have a tracheostomy on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
  • Required to take child to school via prearranged transport.
  • Shift patterns: 12 hour day shifts available Monday - Sunday.
  • Commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week on an ongoing basis.
  • Book your shifts in advance up to 6 weeks ahead.
  • Bespoke training given to support role.
