Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Company Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring robust financial reporting and supporting future growth strategies. As the business continues to expand through acquisitions and development projects, you will play an integral part in this process.

This is the ideal opportunity for an individual who has recent completed their professional qualifications, and is keen to work with an employer who can provide realistic opportunities for development.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong IT and Excel skills, with experience of accounting ledger systems
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What you'll do

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis
  • Finalise monthly cost and departmental reporting across the business
  • Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc financial projects
  • Prepare monthly board reporting packs
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and tax deadlines
  • Review purchase and sales ledger postings for accuracy
  • Assist with annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cashflow modelling
