A community service charity seeks a Community Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities participate in various activities. This role involves personal care support, community engagement, and fostering a friendly environment. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, enthusiasm, and an awareness of Jewish culture. Competitive pay based on qualifications, with flexible full-time and part-time contracts available.
Salary: £12.21 - £13.02 per hour
Location: Golders Green and Hendon

*Qualified candidates need to demonstrate they have completed an Ofqual QCF (NVQ) Level 2 qualification or higher in Health & Social Care (for the higher rate of pay £13.22 per hour).
Unqualified candidates are encouraged to apply. (£12.39 per hour)
As a Community Support Worker, you will work individually and as part of a team to support and enable people to participate in a range of activities, ensuring their needs are met and facilitating a friendly, safe and sociable environment.

With NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care level 2, Care Certificate or equivalent experience, you must have a good standard of written English. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability is desirable but not essential. Understanding / awareness of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture is essential. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
