Overview

Are you passionate about Podiatry? Would you like to work in an “Outstanding” Trust? Derbyshire Community Health Services Podiatry Team wants to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and treatment planning for patients with complex needs.
  • Work with a wide variety of patient types and collaborate with Multi‑Disciplinary Teams in acute trusts.
  • Maintain flexibility and work across sites and teams according to service needs; transport will be essential.
  • Assess, diagnose, develop and implement individualised care packages to maximise ulcer prevention for patients with acute or chronic neuropathies, chronic disease, vascular problems and wound management.
  • Plan and manage your own caseload, including specialist care for patients with diabetes, rheumatologic and biomechanical conditions.
  • Contribute to the development and adherence of Podiatry Department and Trust policies, strategies and objectives.
