A leading academic institution in Leeds is seeking a candidate to lead efforts in increasing public participation and diversity in health research. The role involves engaging community organizations and managing programs to improve inclusion in research. This position offers a hybrid working model and comprehensive benefits including generous holidays and a robust pension scheme. Apply now to make a significant impact in health and care research.
Do you want to be part of a national network supporting the delivery of health and care research across England? Are you able to effectively lead a programme of activities designed to increase inclusion, accessibility and diversity of the public in research participation? Do you have experience in engaging people and communities affected by health inequalities?
You will work collaboratively with colleagues within the RDNCC and, as required, across the RDN and the University of Leeds, and with external stakeholders in a host of settings. You will support the operational delivery of the organisation-wide shift in ways of working and culture that is required to ensure the network functions as a single organisation with a shared purpose and vision across England, as well as mutually supporting colleagues through the period of transformation and beyond.
This role will be based in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time in the office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
Please note: this role may involve occasional evening and weekend work and travel across England.
Please note: the successful applicant will be required to give consent for the University to check their criminal record status and all applicants must declare if they have any ‘unspent’ criminal offences, including those pending.
