Overview

Are you a dedicated Community Nurse looking to make a difference in community healthcare? Our client, a fast-growing healthcare company, is seeking passionate nurses to provide top-quality care in patients' homes around the Peterborough/Cambridge/Milton Keynes/Luton area. This role offers an attractive salary of £40,840 including car allowance, paid mileage and other amazing benefits!

Responsibilities
  • Assisting Patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
  • Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
  • Setting up patients automated PD machines.
  • Visiting patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
  • Monitoring observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure the patient receives the correct regime.
  • Providing peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
  • Keeping the environment tidy and safe, stock replenishment, waste removal.
  • Contacting referring PD units where their intervention or advice is required.
  • Supporting both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.
Working pattern

5 days a week with no night shifts. Start times at either 7am or 1pm, with weekend work on rotation.
