Job description

Infrastructure / Municipal Engineering Graduate for the London, Ontario office. The successful candidate will be expected to support the delivery of infrastructure projects to customers primarily within the municipal linear infrastructure sectors (water, wastewater, and stormwater), as well as the private land development sector.

Responsibilities
  • Sewer and watermain design/replacement/reconstruction.
  • Roadway and intersection improvements.
  • Site servicing design.
  • Client liaison and relationship management.
  • Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and construction specifications and cost estimates.
  • Support Contract Administration duties, including contractor interaction, progress payment certificates, and convene progress site meetings.
  • Communicate and work with other project team members in London and other regional offices to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity.
  • Support new business development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field or equivalent.
  • E.I.T. working towards a P.Eng designation in Ontario.
  • Design experience in surface grading, water and sewer pipe networks.
  • Experience in or understanding of Stormwater Management procedures and design.
  • Experience in or understanding of transportation design /reconstruction projects.
  • Experience in land development or site plan preparation, studies and detailed design is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with software for modelling water transmission/distribution systems.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, the public, and clients.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in field or office conditions.
