Overview

The Community Health & Fitness Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating health and fitness programmes that encourage active lifestyles, improve physical well-being, and promote mental health within the community. The role involves engaging individuals across all ages, providing support in reaching their fitness goals, and creating inclusive environments for people to learn about healthy living.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement, health, and fitness, with the ability to motivate others to lead healthier lives.

Contract and Working Hours

12-month Fixed Term contract

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

This position will require flexibility, including evening and weekend work to ensure full engagement with community groups and programmes. The role will involve regular travel within the local community, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required.
