About the Role
Our operation runs operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with that brings a wide variety of shift patterns – if you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We'll work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
Customers tell us that their local community really matters to them, that's why our Store Community Assistant role brings stores and colleagues closer to their local communities.
As an Asda Community Assistant, you will support local charities and good causes, through your work and with the Asda Foundation. We're passionate about our national partnerships with Tickled Pink and Children in Need, and you'll be responsible in getting the whole store behind fundraising activities for both campaigns.

We'll work with you on your shifts, but the chances are you'll have to work some evenings and weekends and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern – there's something to suit everyone.
About You
You'll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You care about the community and working with local schools, governments and local charities. As you'll be out and about and interacting with the local community including vulnerable groups, you'll need be over the age of 18 and able to pass an enhanced level safeguarding check.
