Qualifications

  • 3+ years of post-qualifying social work experience required.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of social workers.
  • Experience with complex cases and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Social Workers within the Community team.
  • Allocate and oversee casework, ensuring timely and safe practice.
  • Provide oversight on complex cases and safeguarding decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Care Act duties, policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Support multi-agency working and chair meetings as needed.
  • Drive quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage team performance, workloads, and professional development.
  • Support service planning, reporting, and effective use of resources.
