Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is hiring a Specialty Doctor for Community Adult Psychiatry. This role offers the opportunity to manage adult mental health cases, providing senior medical support within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have full GMC registration and a background in psychiatric care. It is a substantive 2 days per week position, with a salary range of £61,542 to £99,216 per annum pro rata. The role is based in Barking and Dagenham, with no on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training in a relevant specialty.
• Experience in managing complex mental health cases.
• Knowledge of Trust protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise workload for yourself and others.
• Ensure effective risk management at team level.
• Provide accurate records for audit purposes.

Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults

Education

Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
