A city primary school in Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic Support Worker to assist deaf children in a collaborative classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational settings, proficiency in British Sign Language, and a commitment to children's development. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team focused on inclusive education and professional growth.
34.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Required as soon as possible.
Warstones Primary School is a large city primary school in Wolverhampton with a Deaf Resource Base. We believe in an inclusive approach to ensure all children are valued and given every opportunity to thrive and learn together, regardless of need. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Support Worker to support our deaf children in the classroom alongside their peers.
You will need initiative and be able to work collaboratively to provide a caring and stimulating environment for our children. You must have good interpersonal skills, ICT skills and enjoy working with children. We offer a friendly supportive working environment with a commitment to the continued professional development of staff.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): supporting students, as groups or individuals; supporting teachers; supporting the school and curriculum, as required.
