Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain supply-demand balances across liquid energy, metals, and agricultural commodities.
  • Develop fair-value pricing models based on balances and related inputs.
  • Design and back-test systematic trading strategies informed by fair-value and balance data.
  • Enhance base balances using improved forecasting techniques and novel datasets.
  • Support portfolio-level hedging and positioning with a fundamental perspective.
  • Trade major benchmark markets such as WTI/Brent crude, natural gas, power, coal, and base/precious metals (LME/COMEX).
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends, geopolitical events, weather patterns, and supply-chain developments impacting commodity pricing.
Candidate Profile
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity trading or a closely related role.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with experience in systematic strategy development.
  • Deep understanding of global commodity markets and key drivers of price movements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
