Job Description

Our client is an accomplished name within the clean air sector, providing a range of professional services to a diverse portfolio of clients and contracts. They are now looking for an experienced and committed Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Tunbridge Wells area.

The successful candidate will have experience carrying out commissioning duties such as validating and balancing air and water systems on a variety of contract types. Applications from Tonbridge, Haywards Heath, Crawley, Maidstone and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience inspecting and balancing air and water systems
• Experience carrying out validations on air and water systems
• Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry
• Previous experience working on critical ventilation systems
• Proven ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports to commission systems correctly
• Good background in water treatment, chemicals, technical and maintenance areas
• Fully conversant with relevant health and safety and compliance legislation, specifically HTM‑0301 guidelines
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Proficient IT skills, including competency in using Microsoft Office

Postholder Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning duties on air and water systems, including balancing, inspection and validations
• Calibrate equipment to accurately balance water systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standards
• Carry out service work strictly in line with client specifications
• Involvement in staff training as required
• Inspect project installs when required
• Produce accurate and comprehensive reports and prepare quotations
• Undertake some water treatment duties as required
• Maintain a professional working rapport with the company’s clients
