Elvet Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer on behalf of a Civil Engineering & Construction main contractor to work on Water Treatment Works upgrade schemes around West & South Yorkshire. The projects range from £5m to over £20m and are part of Yorkshire Water's AMP 7 & 8 programs. These projects involve extensive Mechanical & Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) components on a large scale, necessitating the expansion of the dedicated MEICA & Commissioning team.
This company is a well-known name in infrastructure, offering realistic and accessible career progression. Currently, it operates with a £500m turnover across the group.
The role will be based within the Yorkshire Water team at a regional office, with all work being regional—no overnight stays required. This position offers a pivotal role in the commissioning function for what is expected to be a busy Asset Management Plan of the Yorkshire Water capital framework.
Salary up to £62,000 (DOE) plus package: Car allowance of £5,500 per annum, increased annual leave scheme with buy/sell options, up to 8% pension, fuel scheme, healthcare, and other benefits.
