This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading international law firm with a first-class reputation in advising on cutting-edge technology matters, including artificial intelligence, outsourcing, cloud services, blockchain and emerging digital solutions.

The Opportunity

The firm's Commercial Technology team advises some of the world's largest financial institutions, global tech providers and innovative start-ups. The group has a proven track record in delivering complex IT and outsourcing projects, particularly in highly regulated sectors such as financial services.

The Role
  • Advise on a broad range of technology and outsourcing contracts, from traditional IT arrangements to disruptive AI and digital transformation projects.
  • Work closely with financial services clients, supporting them on regulatory and compliance issues affecting major technology deployments.
  • Contribute to corporate transactions by advising on the technology aspects of M&A and joint ventures.
  • Build strong client relationships through direct client management, thought leadership, and business development activities.
  • Support colleagues across the wider commercial and IP teams on cross-border, multi-disciplinary projects.
Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' PQE in commercial and technology law, gained within a respected law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Strong experience advising on IT and outsourcing agreements.
  • A keen interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
  • The ability to advise on regulatory issues, particularly those impacting financial services, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders.
