Responsibilities
  • Join the Commercial Property / Real Estate team and be responsible for managing your own caseload.
  • Handling acquisitions and disposals (freehold & leasehold) of commercial properties.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on leases (landlord / tenant) including renewals, surrenders, rent reviews.
  • Advising on property finance, development/site purchase, possibly secured lending.
  • Working with corporate teams on property aspects of business sales or acquisitions.
  • Working with external stakeholders: agents, surveyors, planning authorities, etc.
  • Keeping up to date with property law developments, Land Registry, environmental or planning law where relevant.
Qualifications
  • PQE level: typically 5-10 years (or as specified) in commercial property / real estate law.
  • Commercial awareness, client‑focused approach.
  • Experience in property finance or development work.
  • Experience in using modern case management / legal tech systems.
