Commercial Property / Development Solicitor (1–3 PQE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Development Solicitor (1–3 PQE) to join a highly regarded, Top 100 law firm known for its strength in the housebuilder and development sector.

This role offers exposure to a broad, high-quality workload and the chance to work closely with market-leading partners within a supportive, collegiate team where talent is genuinely recognised and rewarded.

The Role

You will advise on a wide range of commercial and residential property matters, including:

• Site acquisitions and disposals
• Residential and mixed-use development projects
• Landlord & tenant work
• Affordable housing and build-to-rent disposals
• Estate management
• Property finance
• Investment work across commercial and residential sectors

The firm’s diverse client base includes PLC and private developers, providing excellent hands-on experience and direct client contact from an early stage.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be:

• A qualified solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE in commercial property
• Technically strong with solid academic credentials
• Commercially minded, proactive, and able to manage a varied caseload
• Experienced (or keenly interested) in residential development and plot sales schemes
• Comfortable working autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment

Experience acting for developers on acquisitions, development sites, and large-scale residential schemes will be particularly advantageous.
