Job description

Our customer, a multinational technology company, is looking for an Israel-qualified Commercial Lawyer for a 6-month contract role.

Role Description
  • Provide legal support to Israel product development teams on software licensing topics.
  • Support sales teams on commercial agreements, including sales, pricing, and distribution agreements in Israel and potentially other European territories.
  • Offer first-line legal support and counseling to Israel HR teams on employment law issues, with assistance from in-house employment law experts and outside counsel.
  • Handle Israel litigation matters, both commercial and HR-specific, with support from in-house litigation experts and outside counsel.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating policies, processes, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with the broader EMEA legal team to identify compliance risks, develop corrective actions, and provide guidance on avoiding similar issues.
Qualifications
  • Qualified lawyer in Israel or England & Wales.
  • 7+ years of relevant legal experience post-qualification.
  • Experience in law firms and in-house roles.
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of understanding complex matters and providing practical advice.
  • Pragmatic and risk-aware problem-solving skills.
