A prominent US Law firm is looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join their in-house Team in their London office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, with a particular emphasis on software-as-a-service (SaaS) and other technology-related contracts.

Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Lawyer role
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly SaaS, IT, and technology-related agreements.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risk, commercial issues, and regulatory implications.
  • Advise on intellectual property rights, licensing, and usage in the context of commercial arrangements.
  • Support the wider Risk team on policy development, risk assessments, and internal governance.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues across legal, procurement, IT, and professional support teams.
  • Assist with training initiatives to enhance commercial and regulatory awareness across the firm.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer (UK or common law jurisdiction).
