Overview

Our client, a specialist M+E services provider with 45 years of experience, operating throughout the UK, are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team due to ongoing growth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs of commercial heating systems across a range of commercial sites, including prisons, educational buildings and government sites.

Job Requirements

• Based in the Derby or Nottingham area (within commutable distance).
• ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (in date).
• Expertise in commercial boiler servicing, fault finding, and repairs.
• Willingness to undergo and pass CTC clearance checks.
• Willingness to work in secure environments, such as prisons, with strict safety and security protocols.
• A valid driver’s license.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch).
• Travel paid after 30 minutes each way.
• Overtime at enhanced rates (up to 1.82x basic rate).
• 1 in 7 weeks on-call rota.
• Company van and fuel card.
• Annual discretionary bonus based on business and individual performance after 12 months of service.
• Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays.
• Death in Service Insurance: 3x annual salary.
• Enhanced Sick Pay: 4 weeks full pay after 7 days of sickness (post-probation).
• Tools & Equipment: Mobile phone, tablet, and specialist tools provided.
