Qualifications

Job description
Overview

We're looking for two experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to join a well-established and growing team. The role will involve servicing, breakdowns, and small works installations across a range of commercial and domestic heating systems.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned service and maintenance work on commercial and domestic combustion appliances (boilers, water heaters, etc.), plumbing systems, and some HVAC equipment.
  • Install and replace HVAC appliances, pipework, and plumbing as part of small works projects.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in heating systems efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records using internal systems.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (currently 1 in 6 weeks).
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience with commercial and domestic heating systems (installation and maintenance).
  • Commercial Gas Safe certification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and pipework installation.
  • Ability to write RAMS and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service focus.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Enhanced DBS required (for work within schools and colleges).
