Job description

Job Advert: Static Electrician

Location: Fareham (Commercial Property)

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Static Electrician to join our facilities management team, based permanently at a large commercial property in Fareham.

In this role, you will be the on‑site expert for all electrical maintenance, responsible for ensuring the building's electrical systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys working in a stable, professional environment and taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Responding promptly to reactive maintenance and electrical faults, diagnosing issues, and carrying out effective repairs.
  • Performing minor electrical installations and project work as required.
  • Carrying out fixed wire testing and inspections (if qualified), and completing necessary remedial works.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with current health and safety standards and BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations.
