Overview

Rivan Industries () is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

We've design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. We've recently deployed the UK's largest synthetic fuel plant and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years.

We're looking for a Sales Manager to build on our already significant book of business as we scale our manufacturing and deployment. Rivan is bringing a completely disruptive technology and approach to a well known commodity energy market, offering a unique opportunity to forge relationships and contracts that will set the tone for the next decade of heavy industry decarbonisation.

The role
  • Build long-term, above-market priced contracts for eMethane across the UK and Europe
    • End-to-end ownership from outreach and engagement, through to negotiation, close, and delivery
    • Market-mapping and execution
    • Forge contracts and relationships with strategic buyers in Government and Military
  • Analyse opportunities across other molecules and fuel types (SAF, Methanol)
  • Finger on the pulse of all policy, changes, and how it impacts our commercial strategy
Core skills
  • 7+ years professional experience
  • Bachelor's or Masters in mechanical/aero/chemical engineering or related field
  • Track-record of large-scale contract procurement in eMethane, biogas, or related market
