Job summary

A facilities services company is seeking an Electrical Commercial Catering Engineer for a local role in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will service, maintain, and repair catering equipment, conduct inspections, and provide technical support to clients. Ideal applicants will have prior experience with catering equipment, hold an electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, and possess a valid driving license. Competitive salary between £40-45k with a company vehicle and great benefits are offered.

Are you an electrically biased commercial catering engineer looking for a new role working locally in the Bristol area?

This Facilities services company have recently secured a new contract covering commercial buildings, including schools, libraries and offices across the Bristol area.

Due to this they are recruiting an electrically biased engineer to cover planned and reactive service and maintenance to their sites.

As well as commercial catering equipment you will also be involved with some electrical ppms such as emergency lighting, fire alarm testing and basic repairs such as LED / bulb and socket replacements.

Main duties
  • Service, maintain, and repair of catering equipment such as cooker, hobs, ventilation, microwaves, and kettles
  • Conduct routine inspection, preventative care and troubleshooting of issues
  • Providing technical support to customers

The ideal Commercial Engineer will have previous experience with catering equipment/catering engineer, as well as a qualification in electrical. You will also hold a valid driving licence.

  • Previous catering equipment experience
  • Electrical qualification such as city & guilds level 2 or 3
  • PAT certification is advantageous
