Commercial Broker - SME Client Advisor - Leeds City Centre

Basic salary up to £25k (OTE £33k) Pension, PMI, 25 days holiday

This is an excellent opportunity to build a career with a major international insurance brokerage with big plans to grow the business, and in doing so, will be creating multiple opportunities for ambitious individuals looking to develop their career within the commercial insurance sector.

This role would ideally suit individuals who have previous broker experience or underwriting within the commercial sector/or personal lines. It’s a very exciting time to be joining this newly created team based within the City of Leeds, and with anyone coming into the business from the outset, you would have the ability to be an integral key member of team in making this a success which you’ll be recognised and rewarded in return.

This role would be dealing with clients on a daily basis with premium spends in the region up to £5k to £15k GWP, providing quotations, assisting them in making amendments and adjustments to existing covers. You will also be involved in the renewal process.

There will be a lot of client and insurer dialogue, so confident communication skills are essential for this role, as well as good attention to detail, a professional manner and strong IT skills.

You will have the opportunity to study towards the CII qualifications or continue if you have already started, which will be fully funded by the company

The overall package is attractive where they are offering a basic salary up to £25k, OTE with bonus up to £33k, Pension, PMI, Life cover, 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) Travel Loans, plus other staff benefits.
