CNC Turner

Leicester

Permanent

£21.00 - £22.00 per hour (including shift allowance)

Nights 6pm - 6am Monday to Thursday

EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Turner to join a well-established and innovative precision engineering company located in Leicester. Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Set, operate and edit multi axis CNC Turning machines
• Adjust tooling's and offsets, set datums, check tools and work holdings
• Self inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment

About You

As a CNC Turner, you will have experience of working in a precision engineering background and enjoy working on complex components. You will be confident working to tight tolerances and high standards to ensure customer objectives are met.

Essential Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Skills Required

• Able to set, operate and edit CNC Turning machines
• Proficiency adjusting tooling's and offsets, set datums, check tools and work holdings etc
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in metric and imperial measurements
• Confidence self inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment
• At least 3 years experience of working in a similar role
