Job description

CNC Turner / CNC Setter / CNC Operator / CNC Programmer

Salary :

£14.50 - £18.50 p / h + Bonus and overtime

Working Hours :

39 Hours

Monday to Thursday 7.00 AM – 4:30 PM,

Friday 7.00 AM – 12.00PM

🛠️ Cnc Turner / Setter / Miller Key Responsibilities :

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
• Conducting precision quality checks using measuring tools and CMM
• Meeting tight tolerances and production deadlines
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment

✅ Requirements :

• Proven experience working as a CNC Turner
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and understand CAD models
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls on Victor Lathes (experience with Hurco machines is a plus—training provided)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience machining materials such as Inconel, Duplex, and Stainless Steel
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
• Completed a time-served apprenticeship
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and strict adherence to safety protocols
