Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location & Hours

Havant, Hampshire
Hours: 37.5 per week (alternating shifts: Early 6am–2pm / Late 2pm–10pm)

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a safety-first culture by identifying and resolving hazards.
  • Follow instructions and escalate issues promptly.
  • Participate in daily Tier 1 meetings to support SQCDP improvements.
  • Record output and update MRP systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
  • Share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to training.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experienced in CNC machine setting (milling and turning).
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.
  • Skilled in modern cutting tools, techniques, and on/offline programming.
  • Familiar with Siemens, Fanuc, Mazatrol controls.
  • Understands 5S principles and is computer literate (Excel).
  • Strong communicator, team player, and committed to excellence.
