Job description

Ashton Recruitment are seeking a Trainee or Experienced CNC Plasma Operator for our busy trailer manufacturing client based in Ballynahinch.

The successful applicant will be required to operate a CNC plasma profile cutter, press brake and guillotine.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Rate of Pay

£12.21 - £14.00 per hour (+50p timekeeping bonus on completion of a full 40 hour week)

Job Duties

• General setup and maintenance of machine
• Selecting and loading material onto the cutting bed.
• Loading pre-populated programmes onto the PLC controller with the aid of technical documents and/or cutting lists
• Selection and preparation of cutting heads in accordance to cutting requirements
• Monitoring cutting programmes, checking parts with respective drawings and amending working parameters when necessary
• Deburring of parts using grinding tools
• Material handling of finished parts for safe transport to welding department
• Grinding / cleaning duties
