CNC Miller Programmer/Operator

Location: Wolverhampton (WV10)
Salary: £18 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are supporting a specialist engineering business in Wolverhampton with the recruitment of a CNC Miller Programmer/Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, customer-focused manufacturer that supplies special fasteners, machined components, and associated products to the global energy sector.

Role
  • Programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machining centres (DEM 4000 & DNM 5700).
  • Working on 3-4 axis vertical machining centres.
  • Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
  • Using measuring equipment to ensure products meet strict industry and customer standards.
  • Carrying out inspection of manufactured components where required.
  • Maintaining safe working practices in line with company procedures and H&S requirements.
  • Supporting colleagues and upholding company values.
Qualifications
  • Proven CNC milling/programming experience with Fanuc control.
  • Previous experience in fastener manufacturing (advantageous).
  • Ability to program and set 3-4 axis VMCs.
  • Confident in reading engineering drawings and applying measurement techniques.
  • Product inspection knowledge desirable.
  • Able to manage more than one machine if required.
  • Detail‑oriented, motivated and organised.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.
