Qualifications

• 3-5 years of working in a high quality manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Matsuura 3 / 5 milling machine or similar.
• Minor Fanuc programming editing is required.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of work station and machines as per TPM Schedule.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Set and operate milling machines to required tolerances.
• Use manual measuring equipment.
• Perform tool setting on CNC Machines.
• Prove programs for new products as needed.
• Provide input to improve machining performance.
• Load and unload parts onto machines.
• Use Fanuc controls for operations.
• Assist teammates in the milling cell as required.
• Follow production schedules as directed by Team Leader.
• Adhere to quality and safety policies at all times.
• Liaise with design and inspection as required.

NC Manual Machinist

Hours : Monday-Friday (Day Shift)

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness of work station and maintenance of machines while during and at the end of their shift in line with company TPM Schedule
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Setting and operating milling machines to required tolerance
• Use of manual measuring equipment
• Tool setting on CNC Machines
• Programme proving of new products as and when required.
• Actively provide details of changes to correct / improve programs that go towards improving machining performance
• Loading and unloading parts onto machines
• Use of Fanuc controls
• Tapping and Deburring where required
• Help and assist other members of the milling cell when required
• Following daily work to do lists to follow the production schedule issued by Team Leader
• Adhere to all quality Health and Safety and environmental policies manuals objectives process procedures and work instructions
• Liaising with production engineering design and inspection as and when required

Experience

• 3-5 years of working in a high quality manufacturing environment
• Previously run a Matsuura 3 / 5 milling machine or similar
• Minor Fanuc programming editing
• Attention to detail
