About The Elms Academy

The Elms Academy & The Hurlingham Academy are co‑educational schools with a diverse community situated in the heart of Clapham and Fulham and Hammersmith borough.

In 2022, the Elms Academy’s A level results were among the highest in the country with 40% of students going on to Russell Group universities. At GCSE, the Elms Academy progress 8 score was +0.73, placing us at the top of our borough and considerably above the national average.

In the same year, the Hurlingham Academy’s GCSE results were ranked the highest in United Learning Academies, the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, and the school was ranked ninth in the country for progress. A tremendous 93% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths, with 88% achieving grade 5 or above. Nearly half (48%) of all students achieved a grade 7 or above in English and maths.

About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Cluster Music Technician. Your work will be varied and rewarding, helping deliver the highest quality music education to young people.

The Person

You will need to be graduate‑qualified with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software and music software.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, manage pressure, communicate effectively, and be computer literate.

You should have experience working with children, preferably in a school environment, and possess excellent organisational and record‑keeping skills. Good technical knowledge of a range of sound and recording equipment and high personal and professional standards are essential. You should be enthusiastic about working within a school environment and be an inspiring role model to our students.
