Job summary

A community healthcare organization is seeking a motivated Band 3 clinical support worker to join an established team delivering care to children and young people with complex health needs. The part-time role (22.5 hours/week) involves supporting high-quality care in various settings under the supervision of a nurse. Ideal candidates will be dedicated to assisting families and managing health needs at home. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 clinical support worker to join a team of experienced children’s nurses delivering nursing care, advice and support to children and young people 0-19, with complex health needs and long-term conditions, within their home and other care environments.

The role involves supporting the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people within the community setting under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. In addition, providing practical care, assisting with clinical tasks, and supporting families in managing their child’s health needs at home.

This is a part-time position, 22.5 hours per week, for a service which provides care Monday-Friday 8-6. The week will consist of three 7.5 hour shifts of 09:00-17:00. We based at Snapdragons Children’s Centre in Strood.
