Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Assist radiologists in breast biopsies, localizations, and other interventional procedures.
  • Ensure imaging accuracy and clarity for optimal diagnostic interpretation.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and monitor quality control programs to maintain equipment performance and image quality.
  • Ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines such as the Mammography Quality Standards Act or equivalent.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess and improve service delivery.
  • Provide empathetic and respectful care, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.

Leadership and Training:

  • Mentor and support junior radiographers, providing guidance in clinical techniques and protocols.
