Job Description:

Our client is a designer, developer, and manufacturer of market-leading technical medical devices. The business is experiencing significant global growth and expanding into new regional markets. In this context, a strategic need has arisen for a Clinical Sales Specialist to cover Hertfordshire.

The ideal candidate should be autonomous, proactive, and highly self-motivated. The Surgical Solutions Manager will aim to improve service provision and efficiency within the existing customer base, fostering long-lasting relationships with clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to develop and implement a region-specific sales strategy.
  • Provide technical advice and training on the safe and effective use of the company's products to customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by independently presenting and selling products and services to healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity in the company's CRM system, including usage, purchasing protocols, and competitor activity, in collaboration with the Account Manager.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the product range and related medical disciplines.
  • Provide technical training and support to medical personnel as needed.
  • Follow through on customer requests and commitments.
  • Develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decision-makers.
  • Adhere to the company's quality policies and procedures regarding complaint handling, product returns, samples, and other areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist customers with stock and equipment management, including inventory, loan kits, and ordering patterns.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the company to maximize cross-business opportunities within key accounts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.
