What you’ll be working

We are looking for a full time (37.5 hours) Psychologist to join Ivetsey Bank Hospital on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract from February 2026.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand each young person’s unique needs.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, tailored to individual treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and person-centred care.
• Support service development initiatives that align with best practice and current research to enhance patient care.
• Play a key role in our initiative to support hospital staff wellbeing, fostering a healthy, resilient workplace culture.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and professional development to Assistant Psychologists and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Promote and develop a culture of research within the service, encouraging evidence-based practice and ongoing learning.
• Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.

What you’ll have

• HCPC registration

• Previous experience within a CAMHS setting
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
