Qualified band 5 candidates must have a BSc in Clinical Physiology or Healthcare Science and be working towards or already have RCCP status.
Trainee Clinical Physiologists must be currently enrolled on a relevant PTP programme and due to graduate. A band 5 scale on annex U may be offered until fully qualified.
Apprenticeship positions are available for the right applicant to train to become a clinical physiologist at Sheffield University and obtain a BSc (Honours) in Healthcare Science. The department will support release to attend university. A band 5 scale on annex U will be offered until fully qualified.
