Job Summary

We have the exciting opportunity to offer a 12 month secondment for a Clinical Operations Manager overseeing LYPFT delivered Op Courage Services along with the LYPFT Duty Managers. The role is taking a lead in operational and clinical management, working closely with clinical leaders and managers to ensure effective & quality care, clinical outcomes and effective governance is delivered.

The post holder will work across disciplines and agencies to ensure effective partnership and the delivery of care.

Main Duties

Your main duties and responsibilities will be the overall performance (including capacity and performance management) of the services and key functions the role is responsible for.

  • Working alongside providers, partners, ICBs and provider collaboratives with a commitment to successful multi‑disciplinary and partnership working.
  • Develop, review and support the operational and clinical structures with a key focus on ‘Ward to Board’ and as part of partner organisations.
  • Lead changes within the services, including engagement with Veterans & People and stakeholders (both statutory and third sector), lead and support management of change and develop service improvements.
  • Lead on the development, roll‑out and review of Local Working Instructions.
  • Maintain oversight and accountability of local risks and development and escalation of service risks.
  • Carry out HR investigations, identify and respond to concerns around unsafe practice and misconduct as well as support the wellbeing of colleagues within the services in line with policy and procedure.
  • Deputise for the Head of Operations when required.
  • Manage service budgets and support financial planning.
