Clinical Nurse Specialist – Heart Function. Band 6/7 developmental. Heart failure admissions 2% bed days, projected 50% rise. Royal Cornwall Hospital Heart Function Nursing provides clinical management advice for patients admitted acutely with LVSD. Service 52‑week in‑patient cover, education, pharmacological, non‑pharmacological, device management, diagnostic referral per NICE, outpatient elective DC cardioversion, follow‑up clinics for complex/high risk heart failure patients.
Applicants must complete identity checks, professional registration checks, employment history and reference checks, occupational health clearance, DBS check, right to work in the UK. Flexible working and sponsorship offered may be available. Short presentation and ‘priorities of care’ scenario may be required at interview.
