A leading healthcare provider in Reading is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Screening. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care, support patients through the screening process, and actively contribute to the development of the Breast Screening Programme. Candidates should have a strong background in breast cancer care, teaching experience, and be NMC registered. An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and clinically skilled senior nurse with a strong background in breast cancer to join the West Berkshire Breast Screening Programme
Provision of specialist, high quality, expert nursing care and support for clients and their carers through the screening and assessment pathway within the breast screening programme
Deliver evidence based individualised patient care according to patient's changing health care needs, through holistic needs assessment, (HNA).
o work autonomously and seek collaborative relationships with others across and within professional boundaries.
To develop patient pathways and be responsible for developing the nursing service working with the Director of Screening and Breast Screening Service Lead.
